Alphabet has quietly become one of the most compelling stories in the Magnificent Seven this year. Google (NASDAQ:GOOG | GOOG Price Prediction) shares are up 12.46% year to date and 39.95% over the past year, closing in on $352.22 as investors digest a Google Cloud business now growing faster than any hyperscaler on the planet.

CEO Sundar Pichai called Q2 “an amazing quarter” for a reason: cloud revenue accelerated to 82% growth, and Gemini adoption is spreading through the Fortune 100.

So let’s walk through what it would take for Google to reach $525 per share by 2027.

GOOG price target

Wall Street Sees More Upside Ahead

The consensus 1-year price target sits at $422.34, backed by 13 strong buys, 43 buys, and 5 holds with zero sell ratings. Analysts see 2027 revenue reaching $612.19 billion, up from an expected $498.36 billion in 2026.

Estimates keep drifting higher: the 2027 EPS consensus has climbed from $14.45 ninety days ago to $14.84 today, with 9 upward revisions in the last 30 days against just 1 downward.

Google has also topped Wall Street’s EPS estimates in 11 consecutive quarters, which means actual 2027 results will likely land above the current consensus.

Here’s the Math for a Move to $525

At today’s $352.22, GOOG trades at a trailing P/E of just 17 on TTM EPS of $19.94. Hitting $525 would lift that multiple to roughly 26x trailing earnings. That is a premium to the S&P 500’s 21x to 23x forward multiple, but hardly stretched for a business compounding revenue at 24.2% year over year with 34% operating margins.

What could push Google to $525:

An infographic titled 'GOOG • NASDAQ Can It Hit $525 in 2027?' from 24/7 Wall St. The infographic uses green, white, and gray color scheme. It features a line chart showing GOOG's stock price from 2024 to 2027, with the current price at $352.22 as of September 26, a YTD gain of +12.46%, and a bold target of $525 by 2027. Below are two bar charts for 'GROWTH ESTIMATES': 'REVENUE GROWTH' with TTM Revenue of $445.9B and 2027 Est. Revenue of $612.2B (+37%), and 'EPS GROWTH' with TTM EPS of $19.94 and 2027 Est. EPS of $14.84 (-26%). A section 'CATALYSTS FOR $525' lists five points with green checkmarks: Cloud Backlog ($514B), TPU Revenue Ramp, Gemini Scale (950M MAUs), Search Resilience (Revenue $63B, +17% YoY), and Enterprise Lock-in (90% Fortune 100). 'IT'S HAPPENED BEFORE' shows historical returns: 1-Year +40%, 5-Years +151%, and 10-Years +822%. 'RISKS TO WATCH' lists three points with yellow exclamation marks: Massive AI CapEx (Q2 $44.9B), Increased Debt ($98.2B), and Valuation Stretched (P/E ~26x). The 'THE BOTTOM LINE' section states the verdict: '$525 (+49%) is ambitious but possible if cloud momentum and TPU revenue ramp accelerate as planned.'
24/7 Wall St.
  • Cloud backlog conversion. Google Cloud backlog now sits at $514 billion, up more than $50 billion sequentially. Management expects to recognize over 50% of that backlog as revenue in the next 24 months.
  • TPU revenue ramp. Alphabet said “the vast majority of the revenues from these agreements will be realized in 2027,” a direct tailwind for the year the bold target lands.
  • Gemini scale. The Gemini app has hit 950 million monthly active users, and APIs process 22 billion tokens per minute, up from 10 billion in Q4 2025.
  • Search resilience. Search revenue still grew 17% to over $63 billion, with AI Mode topping 1 billion monthly users.
  • Enterprise lock-in. Nearly 90% of the Fortune 100 now use Gemini Enterprise.

Pichai framed the opportunity plainly: “from ROIC standpoint, I think, you know, we are taking a full stack approach… over the past year, we’ve gotten more bullish on the opportunities ahead.”

Google’s History Says $525 Is Within Reach

Our internal quantitative model pegs the base-case one-year price at $519.98 with a bull case of $586.04, translating to a 50.98% base return.

Bottom Line on $525

Reaching $525 asks Google to deliver another 49% in twelve months, on top of the 40% it has already produced over the last year.

The hurdles are real: free cash flow turned negative $5.86 billion in Q2 as CapEx exploded to $44.92 billion, and long-term debt has more than doubled to $98.2 billion.

But with cloud accelerating, TPU revenue set to peak in 2027, Gemini scaling into a billion users, and estimates still climbing, the setup is there. We have outlined the blueprint for how Google could deliver an outsized 2027.
