April Job Cuts Total 670,000, Most Ever Recorded

Outplacement firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas reported Thursday that more than 670,000 job cuts were announced in April, the highest total ever. Just over 98% of the cuts were related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
