VW, Mitsubishi, Land Rover Finish At Bottom Of Car Quality Survey

Research group J.D.Power came out with its Initial Quality Study for cars, small trucks and SUVs. The survey ranks vehicles by number of problems per hundred vehicles. This year, the average number of problems per brand was 109. Porsche, Acura, and Mercedes were at the top of the list.
At the bottom, starting with the worst car brand were Land Rover, Mitsubishi, VW, MINI, Jaguar, Dodge, and Jeep. Land Rover and Jaguar were recently bought by Tata Motors. Dodge and Jeep are part of faltering No. 3 US car company Chrysler. And, VW wants to be the largest car company in the world.
