Aehr Test Systems posted fiscal first-quarter earnings per share of $0.28, far exceeding expectations, with revenue also above expectations. That flipped a year-earlier GAAP net loss into net income of $7.2 million, driven by accelerating demand for AI semiconductor test and burn-in systems.
The order book points to more of the same: bookings of $46.7 million pushed effective backlog to $109.3 million as of November 1, 2026. A repeat order from its lead AI processor customer earlier this year signals a recurring production relationship.
Management raised full-year fiscal 2027 revenue guidance to $150 million, the top of its prior range. The company also committed to non-GAAP net income of at least 20% of revenue for the full year, giving the raise additional weight.

Aehr is shipping and installing more than a dozen Sonoma package-level burn-in systems per month for its lead hyperscale customer's first AI processor ramp, and that customer's second AI processor has completed qualification on Sonoma with follow-on orders in hand. Separately, a major supplier of AI accelerators, CPUs, and network processors is purchasing a fully configured FOX-XP test cell for high-volume production evaluation at a Taiwan OSAT, with installation planned for early calendar 2027. Management called it one of the largest burn-in opportunities the company has ever pursued.
Through most of fiscal 2025 and 2026 the company was barely breaking even or posting small losses, so the $0.28 result marks a step-change. Customer concentration and non-binding customer forecasts remain the key risk, but the backlog level and dual-product ramp give the raised guidance a more concrete foundation than prior cycles.
