Brinks posted adjusted earnings of $2.46 per share for the third quarter of 2026, edging past the $2.42 consensus by about 2% and extending the company's streak of beating EPS estimates to five consecutive quarters. Revenue of $1.37 billion grew roughly 3% year over year but came in modestly below the $1.39 billion Wall Street had expected, weighed down by a $23 million drag from the Malaysia deconsolidation and a $14 million organic decline in its Cash and Valuables Management segment.

The quarter's clearest bright spot was ATM managed services and digital retail solutions, where organic revenue grew about 16%, marking the 15th consecutive quarter of at least mid-teens organic growth in those lines. That favorable revenue mix helped adjusted EBITDA grow 8% to $273.6 million, with margin widening 90 basis points to 19.9%. Latin America was the strongest regional performer by growth rate, with segment revenue up 8%.

GAAP results told a different story. Net income fell 60% year over year to $14.5 million, burdened by $45.7 million in NCR Atleos acquisition and transformation costs and $26.6 million in incident-related losses, including a $19.6 million precious metals robbery. Those items are excluded from the non-GAAP figures Brinks uses to frame performance.

The bigger forward-looking news was on the NCR Atleos deal. CEO Mark Eubanks said the company now expects to close the acquisition in early January 2027, citing progress on the regulatory front including developments with the UK's Competition and Markets Authority. He also said the original $200 million synergy target now looks conservative, with additional opportunities identified and synergy capture being pulled forward.

For the fourth quarter, Brinks guided non-GAAP EPS of $2.45 to $2.80 and adjusted EBITDA of $275 to $295 million, implying a margin of about 20.5%. The full-year 2026 framework was left unchanged, calling for mid-single-digit organic revenue growth and mid-to-high teens AMS and digital retail organic growth. Management also noted that once net leverage falls below 3.0 times after the NCR Atleos close, the company expects to return at least 50% of free cash flow to shareholders.
