C.H. Robinson posted third-quarter 2026 revenue of $5.36 billion, up 29.5% from a year earlier and beating expectations, with adjusted diluted EPS of $1.80 also topping expectations.

North American trucking drove the quarter as tighter supply pushed truckload linehaul cost per mile up 33.5% year over year, and disciplined repricing plus higher-margin spot volumes expanded NAST truckload adjusted gross profit per shipment. Global Forwarding added momentum on elevated ocean and air freight rates.

Management reaffirmed at least $6.00 in full-year 2026 adjusted diluted EPS despite year-to-date negative market volume growth, a signal that pricing discipline is holding through a soft freight market.

The proposed $5.80 billion acquisition of RXO, priced at $30.25 per share, is expected to close in the first half of 2027 with roughly $300 million in net run-rate cost synergies. Share repurchases are paused while the transaction is pending.

CEO Dave Bozeman pointed to the lean operating model and AI technology as what will differentiate this integration from past industry acquisitions, citing productivity gains of more than 15% year over year in both NAST and Global Forwarding. Those metrics become the benchmark for RXO integration risk.
