Carlisle Companies reported a record quarter for Q2 2026, posting earnings per share of $7.03 against the consensus estimate of roughly $6.35 — a beat of nearly 11%. Revenue came in at $1.57 billion, topping expectations of about $1.48 billion by more than 6%. Both figures mark the strongest results the roofing and waterproofing specialist has delivered in recent quarters, standing well above the $6.27 EPS it reported in the same quarter a year ago — a period when it actually missed estimates.

The company is navigating a challenging cost environment tied to Middle East-driven inflation that has pushed material costs sharply higher. Carlisle's response has been aggressive on pricing: it has executed three successive price hikes through August, a strategy management credits with preserving and recovering margins. That pricing power was enough not just to absorb the cost pressure but to drive a record result and prompt the company to raise its full-year guidance.

Zooming out on the earnings history, Carlisle has now beaten EPS estimates in five of the past six quarters reported, with only the Q2 2025 period coming in below expectations at $6.27 versus a $6.63 estimate. The Q2 2026 print of $7.03 is the highest reported EPS in the eight-quarter window on record, suggesting the pricing strategy is gaining traction heading into the back half of the year.
