Carnival posted adjusted earnings per share of $1.43 in its fiscal third quarter of 2026, beating expectations for a seventh consecutive quarter.

Carnival absorbed roughly $131 million in unfavorable fuel and currency headwinds and still exceeded its own June guidance, with stronger revenue yield and tighter cost control driving the beat.

Management raised its full-year 2026 adjusted net income outlook to approximately $3.08 billion, even after incorporating incremental fuel costs versus earlier forecasts. The upward revision signals the company views the outperformance as durable.

Booked occupancy and pricing for 2027 are both at record levels, and customer deposits hit a record $7.6 billion despite essentially flat capacity growth, which points to pricing power.

Carnival also completed approximately $1.2 billion in share repurchases year to date, while total debt stands at $23.9 billion, a risk worth monitoring as interest costs draw on cash flow.
