Constellation Energy was the standout mover at the October 6 open, jumping to $300 and posting the largest percentage gain across the priority names tracked. Nuclear-adjacent names followed its lead, with NuScale Power also advancing, a sign the bid is sector-wide.

Semiconductor and optical connectivity names rose together at the open, with Marvell Technology up 6.2%. Traders are pricing a shared AI infrastructure tailwind across the group.

Storage and memory were the clear drag at the open, led by Seagate's 6.3% decline, the steepest on the losers list. SanDisk, Micron and SK hynix fell alongside it, making the weakness sector-wide.

With Constellation holding a double-digit gain at the bell, the nuclear energy trade is commanding attention that investors with exposure to either side of this divide cannot ignore.
