CoreWeave is the sharpest mover at the open on October 14, falling 12% and standing well clear of every other name in the priority universe as the worst performer of the session so far.

The decline puts CoreWeave in a different category from the next-worst losers, Progressive and Bank of America, with Bank of America slipping to sit exactly at $50, a round number traders tend to treat as a line in the sand.

Bank of America at the $50 level is the blue-chip storyline running alongside the CoreWeave selloff. Whether that price holds as the session develops will tell investors something about broader sentiment in the financial sector today.

On the other side of the ledger, GitLab leads gainers with a rise of nearly 3.7%, ahead of BlackRock and UnitedHealth Group. The split between the top gainers and losers is wide enough that stock selection is doing most of the work this session.
