Corpay reported adjusted earnings per share of $7.54 for the third quarter of 2026, beating the Wall Street consensus of $7.20. Revenue of $1.38 billion also came in ahead of estimates. CEO Ron Clarke said in his prepared remarks that the results came in ahead of even the company's own internal expectations, with both revenue growth of 18% and adjusted net income per diluted share growth of 32% exceeding the targets management had set for itself.
The standout inside the report was Corporate Payments, the segment that now generates more than $571 million in quarterly revenue after jumping 41% year over year on a reported basis. Organic growth within that segment ran at 18%, with spend management and cross-border payment volume driving the gains. The Alpha acquisition, closed late in 2025, contributed meaningfully to the reported growth rate on top of that organic base.
Clarke also highlighted the durability of the top-line trend, noting that Corpay has delivered 11% organic revenue growth in five of the last six quarters. That consistency is what prompted management to raise its full-year 2026 adjusted EPS guidance to a range of $27.90 to $28.10, implying roughly 31% growth for the full year. The raised bar lands after five consecutive quarters in which the company has topped consensus EPS estimates.

For the fourth quarter of 2026, management guided to revenue of approximately $1.37 billion and adjusted EPS of $7.55 to $7.75. The full-year revenue outlook implies about 18% growth at the midpoint. Key assumptions underpinning that outlook include U.S. fuel prices of $4.90 per gallon.
Corpay repurchased 1.9 million shares for $747 million during the third quarter alone, lifting the year-to-date buyback total well above that pace. The diluted share count fell from the prior-year period. Investors will also be watching the pending sale of the maintenance business, with proceeds earmarked to reduce debt levels.
