CPI Card Group reported Q3 2026 revenue of $158.4 million, a 14.8% year-over-year gain that beat the consensus estimate. All three business segments grew double digits, with Integrated Paytech leading at 20.3% growth, boosted by the June 2026 TRISM acquisition and continued momentum from the Card@Once cloud-based solution.
GAAP diluted EPS of $0.41 came in missing expectations against the $0.83 estimate, with the gap driven largely by one-time items. The quarter absorbed acquisition and integration costs tied to the TRISM and Arroweye deals, restructuring and other charges that included expenses from a secondary offering that fully exited Parallel49 as a shareholder, and a loss on debt extinguishment.
Year-to-date free cash flow reached $46.1 million, compared with just $6.1 million over the same stretch a year earlier, and net leverage improved to 2.6x. Management raised its full-year 2026 free cash flow guidance to $50 million to $55 million, up from the prior $45 million to $50 million range, marking the second consecutive quarter of raised guidance.

On revenue, the company now targets low-double-digit growth for the full year, a step up from the previous guidance of high-single-digit to low-double-digit growth. The Integrated Paytech segment is expected to accelerate further, with management guiding for revenue growth in Q4 to more than double the Q3 pace, citing Card@Once momentum, TRISM contributions, and a more favorable year-over-year comparison.
The Arroweye integration is nearing completion and has produced more than 30 new customer wins since the May 2025 acquisition, including a top-15 card issuer that was not previously a CPI customer. On the risk side, the company flagged its substantial indebtedness including 10% Senior Secured Notes due 2029, tariff and supply chain uncertainty, and ongoing integration risk from both acquisitions as factors investors should monitor.
