DuPont de Nemours posted adjusted earnings of $2.09 per share for the third quarter of 2026, beating expectations and extending its beat streak to five consecutive quarters. Revenue also came in ahead of estimates, with both reporting segments posting 4% sales growth on a continuing-operations basis.

The 62% rise in adjusted EPS came from mid-single-digit organic sales growth, lower net interest expense, a lower effective tax rate, and a reduced share count after completing a $250 million accelerated share repurchase program during the quarter.

The headline year-over-year revenue decline of 39.2% reflects the spinoff of Qnity Electronics completed in November 2025 and the April 2026 sale of the Aramids business to Arclin. Both are now treated as discontinued operations, leaving a leaner company expanding operating EBITDA margins by 80 basis points.

Free cash flow conversion reached 121% for the quarter, a figure CEO Lori Koch highlighted as evidence of earnings quality. Management lifted full-year 2026 adjusted EPS guidance to $7.47 to $7.52 and plans to repurchase another $250 million of shares in the fourth quarter.

Investors keeping an eye on the stock will want to track healthcare, aerospace, and industrial water markets, which management cited as the primary engines of organic growth. Known headwinds include a tougher year-ago fourth-quarter comparison, tariff and export-control risks tied to China, and continuing PFAS-related litigation costs.
