eBay reported Q3 2026 earnings per share of $1.60, beating the $1.506 consensus estimate by about 6%. Revenue came in at $3.13 billion, topping expectations of roughly $3.02 billion by nearly 4%. The results extend a streak of beats that goes back several quarters, with the lone exception being Q1 2026 when EPS of $1.06 narrowly missed the $1.08 estimate.
The standout figure in the report was U.S. gross merchandise volume, which jumped 24% year over year to $11.7 billion, reflecting continued momentum in eBay's push into resale and collectibles. The Depop acquisition is now closed and has been folded into the company's forward guidance, giving management enough confidence to raise its full-year revenue and earnings outlook.
