Farmers National Banc reported Q2 2026 earnings per share of $0.41, topping the consensus estimate of $0.37 by about 10%. Revenue came in at $70.4 million, just ahead of the $70.05 million analysts had expected. The beat marks a continuation of a strong recent stretch for the company, which also cleared estimates in Q1 2026 and Q3 2025.

The headline driver was a sharp expansion in net interest margin, which climbed to 3.44% from 2.91% a year ago following the Middlefield acquisition. That deal appears to be paying off on the credit quality front as well, with non-performing loans falling 25.4%, a sign that the combined loan book is holding up better than it was twelve months prior.
