CrowdStrike closed up 8.16% on Friday, with Palo Alto Networks, Cloudflare, and Zscaler filling out the next three spots on the day's gainer list. That kind of sector-wide alignment across four distinct companies is uncommon, since these names do not typically move in lockstep.

Palo Alto Networks, Cloudflare, and Zscaler each settled roughly 7% higher. SLB was the lone non-cybersecurity name in the top five.

The day's heaviest selling landed in telecom and energy. Bloom Energy was the session's worst performer, sliding 11.13%, with AT&T and T-Mobile both lower, making telecom the clear pressure point of the day.

Infosys and Comcast also finished among the day's worst losers, each declining more than 6%. Friday's session split sharply between cybersecurity strength and telecom weakness heading into the week ahead.
