Halozyme Q3 2026: Record Royalties Drive a Guidance Raise
As seen on the 24/7 Wall St. homepage on November 5, 2026.
ENHANZE royalties jumped 44% to a record $341 million, and management raised full-year non-GAAP EPS guidance to $8.75-$9.05. The royalty engine is now carrying the story, even as shares slipped in the minutes after the release.

Halozyme Therapeutics posted third-quarter 2026 non-GAAP EPS of $2.39, beating expectations, while revenue climbed 39.1% year over year. The more consequential news came from the shape of that revenue: a business that continues to shift decisively toward high-margin royalty income.
The ENHANZE royalty stream hit a record $341 million in the quarter, a 44% jump year over year, fueled primarily by strong commercial uptake of partner drugs including argenx's VYVGART Hytrulo, Janssen's DARZALEX SC, and Roche's Phesgo. Those are three of the best-selling subcutaneous biologics on the market, and their continued growth feeds directly into Halozyme's royalty line with minimal incremental cost to the company.
Management responded to the results by raising full-year 2026 guidance across every major metric, including total revenue, royalty revenue, and non-GAAP diluted EPS, all lifted from the prior guidance ranges set in August. The royalty revenue guidance alone implies 42% to 45% growth for the full year.

A Dutch specialized patent court ruled that Merck is infringing one of Halozyme's MDASE patents and issued an injunction blocking the launch of Keytruda Qlex across multiple European markets, a win that CEO Helen Torley described as an important victory for protecting the company's intellectual property.
The pipeline also expanded. Three ENHANZE programs, one each with Pfizer, Incyte, and argenx, advanced into Phase 1 clinical development during or just after the quarter, bringing the total number of products in development to twelve. Halozyme also expanded its collaboration agreements with argenx, Incyte, and Johnson and Johnson, adding additional targets to be evaluated with ENHANZE, widening the future royalty base.
Despite the strong report, shares slipped in the minutes following the release. The EPS history shows the quarter is part of a consistent beat streak after a sharp miss in Q4 2025, when reported EPS of negative $0.24 came in well below estimates. The recovery since then has been decisive, and the raised guidance suggests management sees the royalty momentum as durable.
