ITT reported adjusted earnings per share of $2.26 for the third quarter of 2026, topping the consensus estimate of $2.08 by 8.64%. That marks a fifth consecutive quarter in which the industrial company has surpassed analyst EPS expectations, a streak that now stretches back to Q4 2024.

Revenue came in at $1.44 billion, edging past the $1.42 billion estimate by 1.72%. The SPX FLOW acquisition was the largest driver of headline growth, contributing $365 million to quarterly revenue, while organic revenue still managed to grow 7.6% on its own. Within the segments, Connect and Control Technologies was the standout on an organic basis, posting 18.6% organic growth fueled by pricing, defense connector wins, industrial connectors, and aerospace component demand. Organic orders across the company rose 20.5%, with CCT organic orders up 55.3%.

The SPX FLOW integration is running ahead of schedule on cost synergies, and management is beginning to unlock revenue synergies by leveraging expanded capabilities and customer relationships. CEO Luca Savi noted the company is "executing with discipline and speed" at SPX FLOW, delivering high-single-digit growth while capturing those synergies faster than originally planned. Free cash flow for the quarter surged to $288.4 million, nearly doubling from the year-earlier period.

On the strength of the quarter and the order momentum, management raised its full-year 2026 adjusted EPS guidance to a range of $8.54 to $8.62, which represents growth of roughly 19% to 20% for the year. The company also guided free cash flow of $600 million to $620 million for the full year. A quarterly cash dividend of $0.386 per share was declared on November 4, payable December 31 to shareholders of record as of December 4.

Looking into 2027, management pointed to a healthy order backlog as the basis for continued growth and margin expansion. The promotion of Davide Barbon to oversee both Connect and Control Technologies and Motion Technologies was framed as a move to accelerate performance in ITT's highest-growth, highest-margin business. Investors will have an opportunity to hear more detail on the November 5 earnings call at 8:30 a.m. ET.
