YieldMax added another name to its growing roster of single-stock option income funds on October 23, 2026, bringing the SKHY Option Income Strategy ETF to market. The fund joins a lineup that has steadily expanded to cover individual equities through a covered-call approach designed to generate monthly distributions.
The fund sells call options on a single underlying stock, collecting premiums that are then passed along to shareholders as regular income. Investors receive a more predictable monthly income stream while giving up some of the upside that comes from owning the stock outright.
The net expense ratio is set at 1.01%, the annual cost shareholders pay for the fund to execute and manage that options strategy, consistent with where YieldMax has priced the rest of its single-stock series.
For income-focused investors already familiar with YieldMax's model through other funds in the family, this fund represents a straightforward extension of the same structure onto a new underlying name. The key variable to monitor going forward is how the fund's distributed yield holds up relative to that 1.01% annual cost as market conditions around the underlying stock evolve.
