Limbach reported Q3 2026 adjusted EPS of $1.37, clearing the $1.21 consensus estimate by 13.11%, while revenue of $230.46 million topped expectations of $218.59 million by 5.43%. Total revenue grew 24.85% year over year, lifted by both organic momentum and contributions from two acquisitions completed during the quarter.

The standout figure was the General Contractor Relationships segment, where revenue surged 84.7%, including 54.4% organic growth. Management attributed the jump to an easing of project timing delays that had weighed on results earlier in the year. The Owner Direct Relationships segment grew 6.6% and produced a gross margin of 25.4%.

Two bolt-on deals closed in the quarter added $19.31 million of combined revenue. Wisconsin-based building systems firm 1901 Inc., acquired for a base purchase price of $63 million, expands Limbach's geographic footprint and adds roughly 450 employees. Data center specialist CYMCOR broadens the company's capabilities into program management, commissioning oversight, and strategic consulting.

The acquisitions came with real costs: adjusted EPS of $1.37 compares with GAAP diluted EPS of $0.79 after accounting for acquisition and transaction charges, intangible amortization, and other items. Gross margin also slipped to 23.4% from 24.2% a year earlier, reflecting the heavier mix of lower-margin GCR work. Management's target is to bring acquired-business margins closer to historical averages over two to three years.

With project timing improving and acquisitions integrated into guidance, Limbach now expects full-year 2026 revenue and Adjusted EBITDA at or near the high end of their respective ranges of $760 million to $790 million and $78 million to $84 million. Bookings of $311.2 million in the quarter produced a 1.4 times book-to-bill ratio, and free cash flow of $22.2 million represented 80.9% conversion from Adjusted EBITDA, both pointing toward that target.

The company also repurchased 194,788 shares at an average price of $51.31 per share, returning $10 million to shareholders during the quarter. CEO Michael McCann stated that CYMCOR and 1901 add opportunities in data centers, life sciences, and advanced manufacturing beyond Limbach's existing healthcare and industrial foundation, and described a favorable setup heading into 2027.
