Live Nation Entertainment reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $10.11 billion, up nearly 19% from a year earlier, clearing Wall Street's consensus estimate of $9.58 billion by about 5.5%. GAAP diluted earnings per share came in at $1.69, beating the $1.50 estimate by roughly 12.6%. The quarter was the company's first to cross the $10 billion revenue threshold, driven by a 19% jump in fan attendance to 61 million people.

The standout story inside the numbers is the rapid rise of international markets. Attendance outside North America grew 29% and, through the first three quarters of 2026, international fans outnumbered domestic ones and international markets also surpassed the United States in sponsorship revenue. That geographic pivot accounted for about 60% of total fan growth in the quarter and 65% of sponsorship revenue growth, underscoring how dependent on global expansion the company's next leg of growth has become.

All three reporting segments posted double-digit adjusted operating income growth. The Concerts segment, by far the largest, generated $8.75 billion in revenue, up 20%. Sponsorship and Advertising brought in $505.7 million, up 14%, while Ticketmaster contributed $870.3 million, up 9%. Consolidated adjusted operating income reached $1.18 billion. The GAAP figures include a $42.6 million accretion of redeemable noncontrolling interests, sharply lower than the $259.9 million recorded in Q3 2025, as well as a $27.5 million add-back of convertible debt interest, net of tax.

CEO Michael Rapino noted that through October the company had already sold 170 million tickets, up 13% and already ahead of the full prior year's total. That pace underpins management's guidance for nearly 180 million fans in 2026, with double-digit adjusted operating income growth in both Concerts and Sponsorship and high single-digit AOI growth in Ticketmaster. Venue Nation attendance is expected to exceed 75 million, up more than 15%.

Investors watching the balance sheet will note that operating cash flow was negative $657.7 million for the quarter, and the company plans capital expenditure of nearly $1.1 billion in 2026, with $800 million directed at venue expansion. Cash and equivalents stood at $8.26 billion, up 22% year over year. Risks flagged by the company include a $450 million litigation and governmental investigation charge recorded in the nine-month period, secondary ticket market softness that left resale GTV flat, and a reduced foreign exchange tailwind of roughly $20 million since mid-year.
