The 13.7% EPS beat is already being overshadowed by the guidance: a semiconductor supplier's facility incident is expected to strip $70 million to $80 million from fiscal Q3 sales. Management says the disruption should be largely resolved by the fourth quarter, so the holiday quarter is the one to watch.

Logitech's fiscal second quarter of 2027 beat expectations on both lines, with adjusted non-GAAP EPS of $1.51 topping the consensus estimate. Revenue rose 2.8% year over year, and CFO Matteo Anversa credited expanding non-GAAP gross margin for pushing operating income well past the company's internal outlook.

The quarter marks Logitech's eleventh consecutive period of growth, with CEO Hanneke Faber pointing to strength in the Americas, Video Collaboration, and Gaming as the key drivers. Gaming, Video Collaboration, Keyboards and Combos, and Pointing Devices all grew, offering a broad base of momentum heading into the holiday stretch. Tablet Accessories and Webcams declined year over year.

The headline risk overshadowing the beat is a manufacturing facility incident at a semiconductor supplier that management expects to reduce Q3 net sales by approximately $70 to $80 million. Q3 guidance already reflects that drag, and the supplier situation is expected to be largely resolved by the fourth quarter, making Q4 the critical period to assess how much of the lost sales opportunity can be recovered.

Logitech also deployed significant capital during the quarter, paying an annual dividend and repurchasing registered shares, with first-half fiscal 2027 buybacks reaching $284.5 million. Cash and equivalents grew year over year, giving the company a comfortable buffer as it navigates the near-term supply constraint.

The company launched 19 new products ahead of the holiday quarter, which is typically its strongest seasonal period. With the supplier disruption expected to ease by Q4, the trajectory of those new product launches and the pace of supply normalization will be the two variables that matter most for the remainder of the fiscal year.
