Marcus Corporation earned $0.60 per share in Q3 2026, beating expectations, and Chief Executive Gregory S. Marcus called it the highest total revenue of any quarter in company history across both divisions.

Marcus Theatres drove the record, with division revenue up 20.9% as Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The Odyssey led the summer slate. Same-store attendance, ticket prices and concession spending per person all rose.

The hotel side grew more quietly: Marcus Hotels and Resorts revenue reached $92.67 million on stronger average daily rates, with comparable hotels outperforming their competitive sets. Storm-related repair costs at one property weighed on hotel segment operating income.

Operating income for the combined company rose 33.2% year over year, and net income climbed as well. Capital expenditures fell sharply from the prior-year quarter, freeing up cash even as operating cash flow dipped slightly.

Management offered no numeric guidance but pointed to a franchise-heavy holiday film slate, including Avengers: Doomsday, which is already generating strong pre-sales. The Milwaukee Brewers' World Series run is providing an early hotel demand tailwind heading into Q4.
