The more notable move was management's decision to publish an initial 2027 adjusted EPS range of $52.50 to $53.50, implying 10% to 12% growth, well before most peers have committed to a number for the coming year, with similar local-currency sales growth expected. Management cautioned that market conditions remain uncertain.
CEO Patrick Kaltenbach credited broad-based portfolio growth, improving market demand, and ongoing execution of the Spinnaker sales and marketing excellence program for the quarter's results. The company also cited supply chain progress and a production automation agreement with the government of Xuhui, China, while flagging risks from global trade disputes, geopolitical instability, inflation, currency impacts, and weak European demand.
