A $51 million non-GAAP benefit from Israel's new R&D incentive law drove most of the profit improvement, and the cash does not arrive until 2028. Revenue topped expectations but still slipped from a year earlier on a heavier China export mix.

Mobileye reported adjusted EPS of $0.11 for Q3 2026, beating expectations, with revenue also topping expectations. That double beat extends the company's streak of consensus EPS beats to six consecutive quarters, a run that has kept investors paying attention even as the underlying business navigates genuine headwinds.
The profit beat, however, carries a significant asterisk. A $51 million non-GAAP benefit from Israel's new R&D incentive law drove most of the improvement in operating income, and the cash from that benefit does not arrive until 2028. Strip out the policy tailwind and the organic earnings picture looks considerably thinner, which matters for investors trying to gauge the durability of the bottom-line recovery.
On the revenue side, the year-over-year comparison tells a more cautious story. Despite topping estimates, the $492 million figure still fell roughly 2.4% from a year earlier, weighed down by a 5% decline in average system prices. That price compression reflects a heavier mix of China OEM export shipments and lower SuperVision volumes, though SuperVision deliveries did exceed internal expectations for the quarter.

EyeQ shipment volume for the first nine months of 2026 was up 11% compared to the same period in 2025, a striking outperformance against an estimated 1% decline in global automotive production over the same stretch. CEO Amnon Shashua highlighted recent Cloud-Enhanced ADAS design wins with a top-five Asian automaker and a top-ten Japanese automaker as evidence that the company is expanding its content per vehicle.
For the full year, Mobileye narrowed its 2026 revenue guidance and raised the midpoint of adjusted operating income guidance. Investors should note that roughly $190 million of the adjusted operating income midpoint is attributable to the R&D law incentive, meaning the guidance revision, while constructive, leans heavily on the same policy benefit that inflated the quarter.
