Nextpower posted adjusted diluted EPS of $1.31 for its fiscal second quarter, beating expectations and extending a streak of consensus beats that now runs six quarters without a miss. Revenue also beat expectations, driven by continued strength in its core tracker business and demand for complementary products.

Energy storage and other complementary offerings made up roughly 22% of Q2 revenue, record eBOS bookings came in the quarter, and a 1.1-gigawatt inverter supply agreement was signed with a Tier 1 independent power producer. Backlog surpassed $6 billion, giving the company a substantial runway of contracted future work.

The acquisition of Zimmermann PV-Steel Group, completed in October, added fixed-tilt and structural capabilities and expanded Nextpower's footprint to 68 markets across 15 new countries. That deal, combined with rising R&D spending, weighed on GAAP gross margin, which eased to 31.1%. Investors watching the margin line will want to track whether integration costs fade in the back half of the fiscal year.

Management raised its full-year revenue and adjusted diluted EPS guidance, lifting the top end of the EPS outlook to $4.87. A Capital Markets Day scheduled for November 16 is expected to lay out the longer-term financial framework, making it the next concrete moment for the market to reassess whether the platform expansion justifies the margin pressure already underway.
