Nvidia is moving to own the security layer that agentic AI must pass through, a software attach point on top of the hardware base it already dominates.
Jensen Huang unveiled the OpenShell Reference Architecture at GTC Berlin, giving enterprise customers a defined security framework built around Nvidia's stack.
Huang told Yahoo Finance's Deedee Bosa the guiding principle is to "accelerate AI safety," making safety a product category Nvidia intends to own and a test of how durable its revenue is beyond chip sales.
Companies that define security standards in the forming autonomous agent market tend to extract long-term licensing and platform value, and GTC Berlin is where Nvidia planted that flag.
