Oil States International reported Q2 2026 earnings per share of $0.14, topping the consensus estimate of $0.1075 by roughly 30%. The result extends a generally improving trend in EPS performance — the company also beat estimates in Q4 2025 and Q1 2026, reporting $0.13 and $0.09 respectively against expectations of $0.0988 and $0.09.

The standout driver was the Offshore Manufactured Products segment, which finished the quarter carrying a backlog of $451 million — the highest level in over a decade. That figure signals that energy infrastructure customers are committing to meaningful new spending, giving Oil States a clearer line of sight into future revenue than the headline quarterly numbers alone would suggest.

Revenue came in at $156.7 million, just under the $158.0 million estimate, a modest miss of less than 1%. That slight shortfall is worth monitoring in coming quarters to see whether strong backlog conversion can bring reported revenue in line with or ahead of expectations as the order book is worked down.
