Powersports revenue jumped 30%, enough to offset weaker RV sales and keep results above expectations. Diversification is the whole case here, with the LCI Industries all-stock merger vote set for November 18.

Patrick Industries reported adjusted EPS of $1.03 for the third quarter of 2026, beating expectations, with revenue of $975.3 million also ahead of estimates. The composition underneath those numbers is what investors are watching heading into the company's most consequential strategic moment in years.

A 30% surge in Powersports revenue and 14% growth in Marine did the heavy lifting, together absorbing a 15% decline in RV revenue that came alongside a 13% drop in RV wholesale unit shipments. That offset is the clearest proof yet that the diversification strategy management has been building is functioning as designed, keeping consolidated net sales essentially flat year over year rather than retreating with the RV cycle.

GAAP operating margin fell to 5.1% from 6.8% a year earlier, because merger-related and restructuring charges ran through reported results. Adjusted operating margin held flat at 6.8%, and adjusted EBITDA rose 3% to $115.7 million.

The merger in question is the pending all-stock combination with LCI Industries, and management made clear that 2027 planning is already organized around it. The LCI shareholder vote is scheduled for November 18, 2026, and until that closes, the company's existing $62 million share repurchase authorization sits unused under restrictions tied to the merger agreement.

Management did not provide numerical guidance, citing an uneven near-term demand environment shaped by high interest rates, elevated fuel costs, inflation, and softening consumer confidence. The November 18 vote is the next hard catalyst on the calendar, and the outcome will define whether Patrick Industries enters 2027 as a combined entity with LCI or navigates the RV cycle softness on a standalone basis.
