Phinia posted adjusted earnings per share of $1.83 for the third quarter of 2026, beating expectations for the fourth time in five quarters.

Revenue missed expectations on tariff-related refunds owed back to customers, while core business sales rose year over year and EBITDA margin expanded.

With the stoba Group acquisition closing October 1, Phinia raised its full-year 2026 adjusted EBITDA outlook to a range of $500 million to $520 million. Management expects near-term contribution from the newly closed deal.

CEO Brady Ericson noted that the company returned $76 million of capital to shareholders during the quarter through share repurchases and cash dividends. Aftermarket sales rose while Fuel Systems slipped against a strong prior-year quarter.

New business wins in fuel injector remanufacturing, braking in Spain, and Southeast Asian distribution push the company beyond its traditional fuel systems base. A first methanol engine program in China and a CNG injector award in India extend that reach across propulsion technologies.
