Ranpak reported Q2 2026 revenue of $105.2 million, beating the $100.9 million consensus estimate by roughly 4.2%. The standout driver was the company's automation business, which grew 134% in the quarter — a pace that suggests its machine-sales strategy is gaining real traction even as broader packaging markets remain under pressure.
On the bottom line, however, elevated costs weighed on results. Ranpak posted an EPS loss of $0.09, a cent worse than the $0.08 loss analysts had expected, extending a streak of earnings misses that stretches back through most of recent quarters. That gap between a solid top line and a stubborn net loss is the central tension investors are tracking.
