Red Rock Resorts Q3 2026: Why a $79M Charge Hides a Solid Quarter
As seen on the 24/7 Wall St. homepage on November 3, 2026.
The quarterly loss is an accounting artifact: $79.1 million of share-based compensation from 50th anniversary stock awards to nearly every employee flipped a profitable quarter into red ink. Revenue still topped estimates and the board raised the quarterly dividend to $0.26 a share. Keep an eye on the stock as the charge washes out.

Red Rock Resorts reported a net loss of $17.70 million for the third quarter of 2026, reversing net income of $76.90 million a year earlier. The entire swing traces to $79.1 million in share-based compensation tied to 50th anniversary stock awards granted to substantially all employees, plus $6.9 million in other anniversary-related costs.
Net revenues of $488.70 million came in ahead of expectations and rose 2.8% year over year, with casino, food and beverage, and room revenue all contributing. Las Vegas, the core of the business, led the gain.

The anniversary charges bit into operating results beyond the headline loss. Consolidated Adjusted EBITDA slipped 4.3% to $182.62 million as depreciation and amortization also rose. Those costs matter even though the stock-award charge is one-time.
Despite the quarterly loss, the board raised the quarterly dividend to $0.26 per Class A share, payable December 31, 2026, to shareholders of record as of December 15. Keep an eye on the stock once the anniversary charge washes out of the year-over-year comparisons.
