Congrats. Now take the money, close the app, and go on a month long vacation. I’m not even kidding. As someone who has been right where you are, you are on the precipice of giving all this money back and then some. You need to take a long break and get your head clear, then figure out how much of this was skill/repeatable and how much was just straight up luck.

A trader flipping 0DTE SPX calls into same-day puts says it turned $1,300 into $111,000 in two days, and the thread's most useful voice is the one telling him to stop trading. Survivorship bias is the whole genre: the blowups never get posted.

The post from user USSZim describes rolling 0DTE SPX call positions into put spreads when the market opened sharply lower, turning $1,300 into $111,000 across two trading sessions.

Zero-days-to-expiration options on the S&P 500 index are among the most volatile instruments retail traders can access. They can multiply in value within hours on a big directional move, and most expire worthless just as fast.

The thread's most upvoted practical comment, from Active-Physics8045, was not congratulatory. It warned the trader that they are on the precipice of giving all this money back and then some, urged a month-long break, and suggested backtesting any strategy on a simulation account first.

Wins like this get posted; the matching losses rarely do. The thread and its comments document survivorship bias as much as a successful trade, and the community's most experienced voices seem to know it.
