Repligen posted adjusted EPS of $0.53 for the third quarter, beating expectations, with revenue also ahead of estimates. Revenue grew 10.9% year-over-year, signaling that demand for the company's bioprocessing consumables and systems is recovering on its own merits.

A $41.2 million intangible asset impairment charge flipped the quarter to a GAAP diluted loss of $(0.68) per share and pushed GAAP operating results to a loss. Investors focused on the underlying business will look past that line, but it is the number that hits screens first and will frame the initial market reaction.

Adjusted operating margin expanded to 15.9% from 14.2% a year ago, with adjusted EBITDA margin also wider. CEO Olivier Loeillot described the result as a record third quarter and pointed to healthy trends in both consumables and services alongside a growing capital equipment order book.

The BioLife Solutions acquisition, which closed on October 6, 2026, is now folded into the company's financials and its forward outlook, with management raising full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $844 million to $852 million. BioLife adds a recurring-revenue consumables platform aimed at the cell therapy market, and Loeillot noted that early customer feedback has been encouraging and that a meaningful portion of expected cost synergies have already been actioned.

This marks the fourth consecutive quarter in which Repligen has exceeded Wall Street's adjusted EPS estimate, a streak that stretches back to Q4 2024. The company also opened a new Training and Innovation Center in Seoul, South Korea on October 23, 2026, targeting what it sees as a growing biologics and CDMO manufacturing hub. Tariff exposure, integration risk from BioLife, and foreign currency fluctuations remain on the watch list going forward.
