Republic Bancorp leads today's payouts, sending shareholders about $8.7 million at 49.5 cents a share, with the cash arriving October 16. Four more companies follow, paying between 12 and 35 cents a share.

Republic Bancorp tops today's ex-dividend list with a payout of 49.5 cents per share, and only shareholders who held before today's ex-date qualify for the October 16 cash.
Four other companies share the same ex-date, with Concrete Pumping Holdings paying 0.13 cents per share and Global Indemnity Group paying 35 cents a share.
Hackett Group and Bank7 round out the group, distributing 12 cents and 30 cents a share respectively.
Because September 18 is the ex-date for all five, any investor who did not already hold shares as of today's open will not qualify for any of these payments. The next opportunity to capture income from these names will come when each company sets its following dividend cycle.
