RASONQUE turned its first commercial quarter into a 622% revenue beat. Management is telling investors not to extrapolate: expanded-access transfers, pent-up demand and initial channel stocking all inflated the quarter.

Revolution Medicines reported net product revenue of $197.56 million for the third quarter of 2026, its first quarter carrying commercial sales of RASONQUE (daraxonrasib) following FDA approval on August 26, 2026. The consensus estimate had been just $27.35 million, with the actual result exceeding expectations by 622%. That gap is one of the widest commercial-debut beats in recent biotech history, though the company itself is urging investors not to treat it as a steady-state run rate.

Three finite dynamics inflated the number. Patients who had been receiving daraxonrasib through the Expanded Access Program converted to commercial supply, a backlog of previously treated metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma patients who had been waiting for an approved therapy entered treatment, and wholesalers loaded up on initial channel inventory. All three are largely one-time effects that will not recur at the same scale in coming quarters. Management reiterated full-year 2026 GAAP operating expense guidance of $2.1 billion to $2.2 billion, signaling that the cost base remains substantial.

On the bottom line, GAAP EPS came in at negative $1.90, beating the negative $2.3813 consensus by roughly 20%. That figure includes a $40.7 million non-cash charge tied to the change in fair value of warrants assumed in the EQRx acquisition, which weighed on the reported loss. Looking back at EPS history, every prior quarter from Q4 2024 through Q2 2026 saw Revolution miss consensus as spending ramped, making this the first quarter where the company beat on both lines simultaneously.

The clinical backdrop adds meaningful context for investors sizing the opportunity beyond the launch quarter. The European Medicines Agency's Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use issued a positive opinion recommending EU approval of daraxonrasib in previously treated metastatic pancreatic cancer, with a European Commission decision still pending. Revolution also received a third Breakthrough Therapy Designation for daraxonrasib in a combination regimen for treatment-naïve metastatic pancreatic cancer, its fifth such designation across the portfolio.

More than 5,000 unique U.S. patients received commercial RASONQUE through September 30, 2026, and the drug achieved an NCCN Category 1 Preferred listing in subsequent-line pancreatic cancer. Reimbursed claims spanned plans covering more than 90% of U.S. pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma covered lives, a coverage footprint that matters for sustaining demand once the launch-surge dynamics fade. Looking ahead, the company plans to close enrollment in RASolve 301 in NSCLC by end of November 2026, with an initial readout expected in 2027, and global enrollment in RASolute 303 is targeted to complete in the first half of 2027.
