Rocket Companies posted Q3 2026 revenue of $3.28 billion, beating expectations and rising 83.5% from a year ago, with the Mr. Cooper servicing book doing much of the heavy lifting.

CEO Varun Krishna credited structural changes: 'We gained market share in both purchase and refinance, quarter over quarter and year over year, and delivered our highest profitability margin in nearly five years, even as mortgage rates climbed to a three-year high.' Total closed origination volume came in at $43.6 billion at a 2.54% gain on sale margin.

The forward picture is more cautious. Management guided Q4 2026 adjusted revenue of $2.1 billion to $2.3 billion, a step down from Q3, with mortgage rates at a three-year high still pressing on origination demand. Investors will be watching whether servicing recapture economics offset the volume drag.
