Roper Technologies is not leaning on acquisitions to grow: adjusted earnings per share of $5.89 for the third quarter of 2026 beat expectations, and revenue rose roughly 7.7% year over year.
Growth was broad-based across Application Software, Network Software, and Technology Enabled Products, with organic revenue growth of 7% holding firm across the portfolio. Management cited that as the foundation for lifting guidance rather than simply maintaining it.
On top of the organic story, Roper deployed capital during the quarter on three bolt-on acquisitions targeting its iPipeline, Procare, and Strata businesses. Management raised full-year 2026 adjusted earnings guidance to a range of $22.35 to $22.40, signaling confidence that the pace of the first three quarters carries into year-end.
With more than $6 billion in capital deployment capacity remaining, the acquisition pipeline is the variable worth tracking most closely from here. CEO Neil Hunn also highlighted AI integration across PowerPlan, Vertafore, and Strata, describing agentic solutions embedded directly into mission-critical customer workflows as the next chapter of the Roper story.
Net income reached $485 million for the quarter, rising roughly 22% year over year. Part of that gain reflected a pretax equity investment gain tied to the Indicor vehicle, which was excluded from the non-GAAP figures behind the guidance raise.
