Solana closed at $112.70 on September 18, rising almost 11% in a single session and landing back above a price shelf that had been out of reach for months.

Solana spent much of the summer between the low $60s and the low $80s after trading well above $200 earlier in the year, with the recovery to $100 arriving only in the weeks before this jump. Getting through $110 and holding it is a meaningfully different conversation than simply bouncing off a floor.

Whether $110 becomes support or just a level that briefly traded through decides the next move. A token that has fallen this far and then reclaimed a key round number in one session attracts both short-covering and fresh buying, which accelerates the move and creates a crowded trade if the momentum fades.

Investors who have been waiting for a signal that the worst of the drawdown is behind them will point to this close as the clearest evidence yet. Whether it holds is the test that defines the next chapter for Solana.
