The oilfield logistics pivot into power is paying off: a new 15-year, 900 MW deal with an investment-grade customer pushes contracted capacity to 3.2 GW. Management raised fourth-quarter adjusted EBITDA guidance to $165 million to $185 million and says 2027 EBITDA will be more than double 2026.

Solaris Energy Infrastructure reported adjusted earnings per share of $0.45 for the third quarter of 2026, beating expectations. Revenue more than doubled year over year, clearing estimates and reflecting how completely the company has reoriented itself around power infrastructure.

The growth engine was the Solaris Power Solutions segment, which generated the bulk of quarterly revenue. Company-wide adjusted EBITDA rose 26% sequentially as demand for distributed power from data centers and industrial customers continued to accelerate.

After the quarter closed, Solaris signed its largest contract to date: a 15-year agreement to supply roughly 900 MW of generation capacity to an investment-grade industrial and technology customer. That deal, which carries a 15-year extension option, pushes total capacity under long-term contracts to 3.2 GW and marks the third long-term investment-grade power contract the company has signed this year alone. Deployments under the new agreement are expected to begin in the first half of 2027 and scale through 2028.

Management raised fourth-quarter 2026 adjusted EBITDA guidance to $165 million to $185 million and lifted its first-quarter 2027 range as well. Co-CEOs Bill Zartler and Amanda Brock stated that full-year 2027 adjusted EBITDA is expected to be more than double the 2026 total, with further growth beyond that.

Solaris has now beaten Wall Street's earnings estimate in seven of the last eight quarters, with the lone miss a loss in Q4 2025. The company also declared its 33rd consecutive quarterly dividend, at $0.12 per share, payable December 18.

Investors will want to track the pace of capacity deployments under the new 900 MW contract and whether capital expenditures, up 771% year over year, continue to translate into contracted revenue that supports management's 2027 outlook.
