SPS Commerce posted adjusted EPS of $1.39 for Q3 2026, beating expectations by nearly 13%, while revenue came in line with estimates. The profit outperformance is the number that matters here.
Adjusted EBITDA rose 17%, pushing the adjusted EBITDA margin to 36% from 32% a year ago. That four-point expansion came from agentic AI-powered customer onboarding, which cut costs even as the company absorbed lost second-half revenue from the June 30, 2026 divestiture of its 3P Revenue Recovery business.
The company has now beaten EPS estimates for at least eight consecutive quarters, with the size of those beats growing over time. Q3 2026 represents the largest non-GAAP EPS surprise in that stretch, suggesting the AI-driven efficiency gains are compounding faster than analysts modeled.

SPS returned $48.8 million to shareholders through buybacks in Q3 alone. A lower diluted share count is amplifying per-share earnings growth beyond what operating income alone would deliver.
For the full year, management guided to revenue implying roughly 5% growth, with an adjusted EBITDA margin of approximately 34%. CEO Chad Collins said the agentic transformation has exceeded his expectations, and the guidance suggests the margin story extends beyond one quarter.
