SS&C Technologies reported adjusted diluted EPS of $1.78 for its third quarter of 2026, exceeding expectations and marking the fifth consecutive quarter the company has beaten on EPS. Revenue also came in ahead of the street estimate, led by the Technology-Enabled Services segment.
Adjusted EBITDA margin expanded 40 basis points to 39.9%, reflecting operating discipline alongside adjusted organic revenue growth. CEO Bill Stone noted in a prepared statement that the quarter kept the company on track to achieve its full-year goals.
Management responded to the momentum by lifting full-year 2026 adjusted EPS guidance, raising the midpoint to $7.14 from the prior $7.09. For Q4 2026, the company guided adjusted diluted EPS of $1.88 to $1.94, implying approximately 4% organic growth at the midpoint.
Capital returns added a further dimension to the quarter, with SS&C repurchasing shares and paying dividends during the period. The quarterly dividend was raised 11.1% to $0.30 per share, a signal of confidence that aligns with the upward guidance revision.
One risk worth noting: $2.0 billion in Senior Notes mature on September 30, 2027 and are currently classified as current liabilities, though management has indicated it expects to refinance that debt in Q4 2026. How SS&C executes that refinancing in a shifting rate environment is a meaningful variable to follow alongside its otherwise constructive operating trajectory.
