Stock Yards Bancorp posted Q3 2026 earnings per share of $1.40, beating expectations even after absorbing merger-related charges, a card fraud loss, and a credit provision tied to a defaulted corporate security. The underlying earnings engine is running ahead of where analysts priced it.

The Field and Main Bancorp acquisition contributed its first full quarter of net interest income and fee income. CEO James A. Hillebrand said the core systems conversion was completed in mid-October, an important milestone in fully integrating the two organizations. Wealth management revenue grew 20% year-over-year to a record.
Total assets stand at $10.26 billion, and management is committed to holding below the regulatory threshold until a planned 2027 crossing. Elevated loan payoffs and further merger integration costs weigh on Q4. The quarterly dividend rose to $0.33 per share.
