Terex posted adjusted diluted EPS of $1.50, beating expectations, with revenue of $2.20 billion lifted by the REV Group acquisition and its new Specialty Vehicles segment.

The bigger story sits inside the Aerials segment, which grew sales 32% year over year on strong demand from national customers and increased capital spending on large projects. CEO Simon Meester disclosed that Terex is now in active engagement with multiple strategic counterparties over a formal separation of that segment, with carve-out work already advancing.

On a GAAP basis, net income rose 75% from a year ago, with the gap to adjusted results reflecting amortization of purchased intangibles and other deal-related costs tied to the REV integration. The board authorized a new $500 million share repurchase program, and Terex kept buying back stock in Q3.

Management refined its full-year 2026 outlook to sales of $8.0 billion to $8.2 billion. A $7.0 billion backlog, up 12.9% on a pro forma basis, adds forward visibility behind that guidance. The Aerials separation is now the largest variable hanging over the stock into year-end.
