Enterprise technology dominated the gainer list on September 30, with C3.ai, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Intel, and Accenture all landing in the top five. HPE led that group with a 4.18% advance, signaling broad appetite for established tech into the close.
Hims & Hers was the outlier on the gainer side, climbing 3.95% to $29.84 and sitting between the enterprise tech names. Its presence alongside hardware and consulting companies shows the buying spread across sectors and themes.
Moderna fell 5.52% to lead the decliners, with Marathon Digital, Digital Turbine, AppLovin, and Bloom Energy all sliding more than 4%. The clustering of high-beta and momentum names on the losing side points to a rotation out of that group.
The spread between the session's top gainer and steepest loser came in at nearly 12 percentage points, splitting enterprise tech from momentum names. Investors holding either camp ended September 30 in very different places.
