TowneBank is sending shareholders the biggest check of the day, $25.9 million at 28 cents a share, with the money landing October 9. Four other companies are paying out too, including Seanergy Maritime at 35 cents a share.

Four other companies are also paying dividends today, all sharing the same October 9 payment date. Chicago Atlantic BDC is paying $0.34 per share, while Seanergy Maritime is paying $0.35 per share.
Alerus Financial is distributing $0.22 per share and National Research rounds out the group at $0.16 per share. Seanergy Maritime carries the highest per-share rate among the five companies paying out today.
For income-focused investors, the September 25 ex-date is the critical cutoff: anyone who picked up shares on or after that date will need to wait for the next dividend cycle across all five of these names.
