Investors sitting out TransUnion missed a quarter that beat on both lines, with adjusted diluted EPS of $1.25 topping the consensus estimate of $1.21 and revenue edging past forecasts on broad momentum across the business.
Financial Services carried the domestic side, with Auto lending volumes up 13%, while Insurance delivered its ninth consecutive quarter of double-digit growth and U.S. Markets revenue rose. That consistency is why the beat reads as durable rather than a single quarter of luck.
Internationally, India and Latin America each posted 18% organic constant currency growth, with the Trans Union de Mexico acquisition performing ahead of plan. CEO Chris Cartwright said the company expects 2026 to mark its third consecutive year of at least high-single-digit organic constant currency revenue growth and double-digit adjusted diluted EPS growth.

Management lifted the full-year adjusted diluted EPS range to $4.81 to $4.88, crediting lower net interest expense and share repurchases. The board also increased the share repurchase authorization to $2 billion total, giving the stock a funded floor heading into next year.
The known risk is a projected decline of more than 20% in mortgage inquiry volumes in the fourth quarter, driven by rising interest rates, which management has already baked into Q4 revenue guidance alongside non-mortgage growth running near the Q3 pace. How closely actual mortgage trends track that conservative forecast is the variable to monitor as the quarter progresses.
