Uber closed at $65.78 on October 27, undercutting the prior 52-week floor. That confirms the downtrend is still intact rather than finding a base.

The stock has shed roughly a third of its value from where it traded last October. For a company that once commanded a premium on the premise of rapid global expansion, that compression reflects a sustained reassessment of what the business is actually worth.

Persistent selling has been interrupted only by brief bounces. The stock opened the trailing year near $96 and has worked its way down in a staircase pattern, with each recovery attempt failing to reclaim the prior peak before the next leg lower began.

The $65.78 close may be the latest step in a longer decline rather than a durable floor. Until the stock closes meaningfully above a prior breakdown level on volume, the trend offers no technical reason to assume the selling is finished.
