Upbound Group, Shoe Station, and Two Others Pay Dividends Oct. 6

Upbound Group leads today's dividend payers, sending shareholders $22.7 million at 39 cents a share on October 27. Shoe Station Group, First Bancorp and Escalade round out the group, with checks going out as soon as October 13.

Upbound Group is the standout name on today's ex-dividend list, with a $0.39 per share payout heading to shareholders on October 27. Investors who held shares as of today's ex-date, October 6, are locked in for that payment.
Shoe Station Group and First Bancorp follow with smaller per share payouts. Both checks arrive before Upbound's, with First Bancorp paying on October 16 and Shoe Station on October 20.
Escalade rounds out the group with the smallest payout of the four at $0.1525 per share. Its payment date of October 13 makes it the first of these four companies to actually put money in shareholders' accounts.
For income-focused investors, the window to qualify for any of these payouts has now closed since the ex-date is today. The payments themselves are spread across two weeks, giving the calendar a steady drip of income rather than a single lump sum.
