Wayfair Q3 2026: Share Gains Drive Best Margin Quarter in Six Years
As seen on the 24/7 Wall St. homepage on November 4, 2026.
U.S. net revenue rose 11.4% while the broader home goods category stayed roughly flat, evidence of share capture rather than a recovering market. Orders delivered climbed 12.2% to 11.0 million, so the growth is volume-led, and adjusted EBITDA margin of 6.9% is the best third quarter since 2020.

Wayfair reported adjusted earnings of $0.93 per share for its third quarter of 2026, beating expectations of $0.81. Revenue came in at $3.42 billion, ahead of estimates. The beat was broad-based, touching both the top and bottom lines.
U.S. net revenue rose 11.4% to $3.04 billion even as the broader home goods category remained roughly flat, a gap CEO Niraj Shah described as structural share capture. Orders delivered climbed 12.2%, showing the gains came from volume. Active customers also grew over the same period.
Profitability showed meaningful improvement alongside the top-line beat. Adjusted EBITDA margin reached 6.9%, which management called its best third-quarter result since 2020. The company also swung to a GAAP net income of $62 million compared to a loss of $99 million in the year-ago period, helped in part by the absence of a debt extinguishment charge that had weighed on prior-year results.

The international segment was the clearest soft spot, with revenue declining 2.3% to $380 million and the international adjusted EBITDA loss widening to $25 million. Average order value edged down and gross margin eased slightly. A stockholders' deficit of $2.8 billion and significant long-term debt remain overhanging balance-sheet risks investors will want to monitor.
Shah was notably direct about the ambition behind the results, saying the company told investors at the start of the year it expected to take share at a pace not seen in several years, and that Q3 delivered exactly that. He added that the momentum on orders and customers gives management confidence the gains are structural and that the company is still in the early innings. Whether that confidence is reflected in the stock will depend on how durable the category stays flat while Wayfair continues to outgrow it.
